Established in 2003, MCA creates, develops and manages physician homecare practices. MCA has its principal office centrally located in Kansas City, Missouri, from which it currently manages physician practices in several different states including Kansas, Missouri, Arizona, Indiana, and Maryland.

MCA affiliated practices are transforming senior healthcare by establishing and managing an effective and efficient house call model. MCA’s mission is to allow each of its affiliated physician practices and associated healthcare professionals to focus on patient care while MCA is responsible for the vast majority of the administrative responsibilities of each practice. MCA and its affiliated practices recognize that preventative medicine allows our senior population to extend their independence, thereby improving the quality of their lives and their families’ lives. Importantly, through recent federal legislation, Medicare has also recognized the benefits of preventative medicine by increasing the level of reimbursement for home visits which contributes significantly to the quality of our physicians’ lives.

MCA contracts with physician practices and provides them an “officeless” practice thereby enabling them to participate in a homecare practice that is both financially and professionally rewarding. Among the services which MCA is capable of providing to its affiliated practices include the following: market each physician practice; provide each physician with access to an electronic medical record; provide access to centralized staff for practice support including phone coverage and scheduling; supply coding and billing of third party payors; administer a comprehensive accounts receivable process, and; contribute firsthand knowledge and experience in the form of the training necessary to establish and maintain a successful home care practice.

MCA is compensated for the services it provides through a mutually agreed upon fee with each practice which is a function of the revenues actually collected by each practice. As a result of MCA having multiple physician practices focusing only on homecare, MCA is able to offer a competitive fee structure which is generally one-half of the national average for the overhead commonly paid by office based practices.
