Established in 2003, MCA has its principle office centrally located in Lenexa, Kansas, from which it works with homecare practices in several different states including Kansas, Missouri, Arizona, Indiana, Maryland and Mississippi.

MCA’s mission is to allow each of its affiliated physician practices and associated healthcare professionals to focus on patient care while MCA is responsible for the vast majority of administrative responsibilities of each practice. Medicare has also recognized the benefits of preventative medicine by increasing the level of reimbursement for home visits which contributes significantly to the quality of our physicians’ lives.

 

MCA contracts with physician practices and provides them an “officeless” practice, thereby enabling them to participate in a homecare practice that is both financially and professionally rewarding. Some of the services which MCA is capable of providing to its affiliated practices include the following: provide each physician with access to a CCHIT electronic health record; provide access to coding and billing of third party payors; administer a comprehensive accounts receivable process; and, contribute firsthand knowledge and experience in the form of training necessary to establish and maintain a successful home care practice.

Because MCA works with many homecare practices, MCA is able to offer a competitive fee structure, thereby reducing "office" overhead to a level that is generally one-half of the national average for office based practices.
